Satoshi Omura believed in a statement by Shinpei Goto. The latter stated, “leaving money behind is vulgar, leaving industry is mediocre and leaving human resources super”. Omura planned to donate his Noble Prize money to Yamanashi University and Science University, Tokyo, Japan.
