Luis Alvarez’ research team consisting of physicists, engineers, technicians, scanners and programmers greatly helped him in his work which led to his being awarded the Nobel Prize. He used part of his Nobel Prize money to take with him to the award ceremony in Stockholm, senior members of his research team, accompanied by their wives.
